We want to bring communities together through community drama. Our focus is on shared experiences that bridge intergenerational gaps, particularly between young people and the elderley. We are able to use the arts as as tool for change; reducing social isolation, loneliness, increasing confidence and building upon the life skills of all involved. We are experienced and trained community drama practitioners who work with movement, song, spoken word, poetry, drama and memories to reach our goal of mutual happiness and shared experiences. We are particularly interested in providing stimulating workshops to those with additional needs such as learning difficulties/learning disabilities.

We provide immediate impact to our local community as our workshops successfully bring generations together in a positive and uplifting way For our young people, they obtain leadership and transferable facilitation skills with a sense of empowerment that they are key members of the local community who can make a difference. Our elderley participants feel more connected to others and we are bringing an engaging and interactive opportunity - for some this could be there only interaction which is why it is crucial our workshops are set up to reach these people.

Our project work has long lasting benefits within the community. Ultimately, we want to shift the separation within our generations to encourage communities that share experiences regardless of their age. The secondary impact of our work is that the young facilitators are offered paid work experience and a chance to build their confidence in opportunities that are not provided within the traditional schooling system We are supporting the development of well-rounded, talented individuals who will engage with society in meaningful ways through their experience of community drama.
